Yes, your MT5 account credentials work on desktop, web, and mobile versions of MT5.

Logs are in the "Journal" tab of the MT5 terminal or in the platform’s installation folder.

MT5 time is based on the broker’s server (UTC+0) and cannot be changed manually.

1. Download the MT5 desktop platform and launch it.
   
   
2. Click File → Login to Trade Account.
   
   
3. In the login window, enter your trading account number (Login), the password provided when you created this account, and select the Born2trade server.
   
   
4. Click OK to confirm.
   
   

✅ Once logged in, your account balance and connection status will appear at the bottom of the MT5 terminal.

3. Search for and select the Born2trade server indicated to you in an email.

📱 You can save your login details and add multiple accounts to switch between them easily.

MT5 allows you to log in with multiple accounts across devices. You must enter the correct server and account details each time.

If the Born2trade server does not appear automatically, you can add it manually.

Desktop (Windows / macOS):

1. Open the MT5 platform.
2. Go to the top menu and click File → Open an Account.
3. In the search box, type Born2trade.
4. Select the Born2trade server from the results and click Next.
5. Choose Log in to an existing account.
6. Enter your trading account number (Login) and password.
7. Click Finish to connect.
   
   

Mobile (iOS & Android):

1. Open the MT5 app on your phone.
2. Tap Settings → New Account → Log in to an Existing Account.
3. In the search bar, type Born2trade.
4. Select the Born2trade server from the list.
5. Enter your trading account number (Login) and password.
6. Tap Sign In to complete.
   
   

📱 Tip: On mobile, if the server does not appear immediately, ensure your internet connection is stable and try typing the full name “Born2trade”.

Your balance is displayed in the "Trade" tab at the bottom of the MT5 platform.

Right-click a symbol in Market Watch → Specification to view details about a chosen trading instrument.

In Market Watch, right-click and select Symbols to show or hide instruments.

Use the toolbar to switch between candlestick, bar, or line charts.

By default, MT5 charts display the Bid price. You can also enable the Ask line in the chart settings.

Once enabled, you will see both Bid and Ask lines on your charts.

Right-click on a chart, select "Trading", and set an alert with the required conditions.

A Trailing Stop automatically adjusts your Stop Loss level as the market moves in your favour, helping you lock in profits while keeping the position open.

Desktop (Windows/macOS):

1. Open your MT5 platform and make sure you have an active trade.
   
   
2. In the Terminal window (press Ctrl+T if not visible), go to the Trade tab.
   
   
3. Right-click on the open position you want to protect.
   
   
4. From the menu, select Trailing Stop.
   
   
5. Choose a preset value (e.g., 15 points, 50 points) or select Custom to set your own.
   
   
6. Once activated, the stop loss will move with the price by the set distance.
   

Managing Trailing Stops:

• To remove a trailing stop, right-click the order again → Trailing Stop → None.
  
  
• To modify it, set a new value; the old one will be replaced.
  
  
• Remember: trailing stops work locally on your MT5 terminal. Your computer or device must remain connected for the trailing stop to function.
  

Mobile (iOS/Android):
Trailing stops are not supported on the MT5 mobile app. You can only set standard stop loss and take profit levels. For trailing stops, please use the desktop platform.

Yes. Expert Advisors are supported on MT5 as long as they comply with trading rules.

To install and use an Expert Advisor on MT5, follow these steps:

Download the EA file (usually ending in .ex5 or .mq5).

1. Open the MT5 platform.
   
   
2. From the top menu, click File → Open Data Folder.
   
   
3. In the new window, go to MQL5 → Experts.
   
   
4. Copy your EA file into the Experts folder.
   
   
5. Close and restart MT5 so it recognises the new EA.
   
   
6. In MT5, open the Navigator window (press Ctrl+N).
   
   
7. Expand the Expert Advisors list - you should now see your EA.
   
   
8. Drag and drop the EA onto a chart of the instrument you want to trade.
   
   
9. A settings window will appear; adjust the inputs as needed, then click OK.
   
   
10. Make sure Algo Trading (green button on the toolbar) is enabled.

You are attempting to trade outside the instrument's trading hours. Check Symbol Specifications for the trading schedule.
